Alberto Sanna, after seeing one of Wim’s Chopin videos, caught what was almost literally the first flight from Los Angeles to talk about the Authentic Sound tempo project. Alberto had just finished his bachelor’s degree at Colburn University and soon started an intense collaboration with Wim, which has already resulted in dozens of recordings of music by Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert and Schumann. He finished his master’s degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels with Jan Michiels in 2022. Currently he is recording the complete Keyboard works by Beethoven.
